Melissa Meyer
FounderMelissa is a Georgetown Law grad with a background startups, advocacy, and health. Melissa spent much of 2010 – 2013 in the Lombardi Cancer center where she was being treated for a life-threatening blood disease. In that same period, she experienced the loss of her two closest girl friends to cancer. Her life goals include destroying cancer and helping patients improve their quality of life through alternative medicine. She does everything for HealthMJ that she can’t find someone else to do better.
Mia DiStefano
Social MediaMia is a Georgetown Language and Literature grad with a background in media and communications. Mia was a caregiver until 2003, when she lost her father to cancer. Mia keeps HealthMJ’s Facebook and Twitter feeds always up to date with interesting news about cancer and cannabis. Check out her work on Facebook and Twitter if you haven’t already.

Alyssa Gocinski
PublishingAlyssa majors in Journalism at Emerson College. While abroad in the Netherlands, she became interested in drug policy when interviewing locals about the cannabis industry. Alyssa researches widespread material and breaks it down into enjoyable and easy-to-read pieces.
